“Frontliners” of Serving & Sharing Foundation Inc.

From the President,

Presenting our “frontliners” during this pandemic time as since March 2020, Serving & Sharing Foundation Inc. has been doing a “touchless” Drive-thru FREE Food Distribution at Saint Stephen Catholic Church in Valley Center, California.  In as much as I think about people’s needs, I worry more about the health risks of the volunteers.  May the good Lord continue to give us strength and protection in our endeavor to serve and provide food for the needy.  We are serving an average of 200 families every month.  My heartfelt appreciation to all the volunteers for their dedication and hard work especially to these mighty 4 beautiful couples namely Willy & Mariss Tulao, Jun & Vickie Cabrera, Pollie & Nida Ordonez, Efren & Carol Ragay.  With special mention to other volunteers who are very willing but due to health reasons during this challenging time, they’re unable to join us physically but together with us in spirit.  We thank God for this great opportunity to be of service to the community.

Serving & Sharing Foundation Inc. Selected as *EFAP Agency of the Month for August 2018!

The Serving & Sharing Foundation Inc. team serves a remote area, has a great group of volunteers, and is excellent at incorporating best practices. In fact, they have helped the Food Bank by providing their excellent volunteers at other EFAP distributions when needed.  We can’t thank them enough for being willing to step in and help. They host a mass food distribution on the fourth Saturday of the month serving the Valley Center community in need. They serve an average of over 74 households and 340 individuals each month! Over a 12 month period, they provided over 37,000 pounds of food to the community which is the equivalent of 31,000 meals. Congratulations to Lorraine Vales and her well-deserving team on this recognition of their hard work and dedication!
